Lab Chimps Play in the Sun for the First Time
These chimps were caged/kept indoors their entire lives and have finally been allowed outside to play for the first time. Most of the former 38 monkeys have spent their entire lives behind bars. Since 2002, they are living in an Austrian village, slowing being prepared for life with freedom. This moment was for both animal and people equally exciting.
They had no say in how they were treated prior to their release from torture, and deserve to live out their lives in peace. Unfortunately there are more of these types of chimps who need help in our area, and this is the main motivating force behind the development of Forever Safe Chimps.
Tours can be a great way to spend family time, while learning something new about our world around us. The tours are also an excellent resource for teachers looking to make that extra impression on students. Group rates are available upon request.
