Forever Safe Farm Animal Education Center, Inc. is always in need of volunteers to help with daily animal care, fundraising, grounds keeping, and special projects.
Do you love animals? Do you want to donate your time or expertise to something you believe in? Well, you have found the right cause!
Forever Safe Farm is always looking for quality individuals who want to help animals. We require a completed application and a commitment of at least 12 hours per month with 4 of those hours being spent on grounds keeping duties.
Description of Volunteer Opportunities
ANIMAL HUSBANDRY: food prep for residents, cleaning of animal habitats, scrubbing feed and water buckets, and manure removal
PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT: assisting on group tours, helping to design and implement classes, workshops and summer camps for kids
FUND RAISING: grant writing, letter writing, helping with special events
CONSTRUCTION/REPAIRS: constructing and repairs of animal shelters/housing, installing and repair of fence and fence posts, painting of buildings, repair and maintenance of farm and miscellaneous equipment
GARDENING/LANDSCAPING: weeding, mulching, & planting of flowerbeds, planting, maintaining and harvesting a garden (supplies animal residents with fresh produce)
OFFICE HELP: filing of paperwork, writing letters, record keeping, mailing
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers who work at Forever Safe Farm Animal Education Center, Inc. must:

Make a serious commitment to Forever Safe Farm

Attend all required training

Support the sanctuary's philosophies, positions & policies

Adhere to all rules & safety protocol

Be willing to get TB & Tetanus shots if required
